Being free...fantasy or potential reality

Freedom...what a beautiful word isn't it.

Now..only if it truly existed...we wouldn't have the need to ask..no. demand it!

It started centuries ago, when we were brought here on the account of our own people. Selling us like cattle.
It's been an ongoing battle since then. We were not valued as human. We were "property" of the Anglo man.
According to them, we had no souls, we were inhumane, so they proceeded to train us, work us to the bone. Castrated us of anything that was our own. We were officially owned by the "massa". Our names were even changed to adhere to the Anglo lang-uage. Didn't matter what age we were. They did whatever it took to eliminate any part of our "savage" culture.

Our men, once Princes, Kings, now, beaten to a pulp, overworked..couldn't even get a gulp of water to quench his thirst. Our women, once Princesses, Queens now quenching the Anglo massa of his thirst for our sugar walls. Concubines, they were called.

Now, its 2019. The "massas" are now in office and in uniform. Trying to get us to conform to their standard of what a Black person is and how they should act.

This country is being ran by a senile battalax who is reverting right back to the days of old, and bringing us to war with the world just to feed the ego of the affluent Anglo...trying to build walls of separation and forcing immigrants both already here and potential, to face degradation when all they want is asylum and liberation from their suffering in their own place of origin. When was helping people made illegal?? When did we become so desensitized to suffering that we literally put a ban of acceptance on certain groups of people??

Someday..we will all be free....someday....unfortunately for many of us that means leaving this Earth to be in the Heavenly gates.
Whether 6 feet in dirt or entombed in a mausoleum, that seems to be our only way to gain our much deserved Freedom.
The idea of this supposed right that was supposed to be meant for all humans, is only true for those whose race does not have a hue. Or for those who live the straight and narrow route... And even then, sometimes it's not true. The boys in blue...not all...but most seem to have this bloodthirsty lust turning us into ghosts. Those who carry the heart of hate will do whatever it takes to eliminate any part of those who are non-straight. The promissory note in which Dr. Martin Luther King Jr spoke of, still remains a dream for us. LGBT are slain every day, yet the cases remain untouched. Its as if they simply dont give a fuck! Hell they STILL haven't caught who killed Big and Pac! Smh..and..Still. We are being held against our will, to the point of being killed. We now fear for our children. Cause who knows the extent the law enforcement will go to then when they approach the next generation....this nation is ass backwards. The closer we get toward freedom, the harder it is to reach ..inch by inch...we move toward it.....it moves further away...we need the Martin Luther King Jrs and the Malcom Xs and the Huey Newtons and the Bobby Seales of today to take this pain away...

When will this end???
